$500,000 settlement for elder neglect due to bed sores

$500,000 settlement for elder neglect of rehab patient with Multiple Sclerosis: A 40 year old patient was admitted to defendants’ rehab facility for short term rehab for flare-up of M.S., but instead developed severe bed sores at that faciliy due to defendants’ neglect. She got acutely ill from the bed sores, and was transferred out to the hospital, and then spent 18 months at another rehab facility for the bed sores to heal.
