$1,225,000 Settlement For Sexual Harassment

$1,225,000 Settlement for Sexual Harassment of Two Female Correctional Employees by the Warden.

A supervisor of the correctional institution where the women worked had sexually harassed them, subjecting them to a hostile work environment for more than nine months. During the pre-trial work-up of the case, the employer was forced to admit that it had no record of the sexually harassing supervisor ever attending sexual harassment prevention training and that the supervisor was responsible for monitoring his own sexual harassment training (the fox guarding the hen house).  Felicia Curran was able to obtain a settlement for the two women employees a few months before the case was set to go to trial.
